I’m offering interactive talks with Q&A, creative writing workshops and book readings as well as custom sessions.

Suitable for years 5, 6 & 7.

What to expect in my sessions

My stories have an strong environmental message and I love incorporating climate change, ecosystems, wildlife and biodiversity into my events!

Some topics I have covered in the past include:

Writing wild weather

World building
Life of an author

I work with local bookshops to ensure students have access to my books and I can send out signed bookplates in advance of the session.

I charge in line with the Society of Authors recommendations.

Scholastic have created some fantastic free book resources for The Switching Hour, aimed at upper Key Stage 2 – Year 5. Students can learn about myths, legends and traditional stories, gain an increased awareness of the effects of climate change and develop their descriptive and creative skills!
